Domaine Gilles Morat, Pouilly-Fuissé Bélemnites 2020

A Chardonnay from the limestone-rich hillsides of Vergisson, Domaine Gilles Morat’s Bélemnites takes its name from the marine fossils found in the vineyard soils. Selected parcels of mature vines give this Pouilly-Fuissé its concentration and sense of place.

The cuvée is known for generous citrus, citrus-zest and apricot notes, combining purity of fruit with an elegant texture. Barrel fermentation and aging bring depth without losing freshness.

Serve with roast chicken, buttery fish or shellfish.
