Domaine Dupré-Goujon, L'Héronde 2020

An elegant red from the Côte de Brouilly cru in Beaujolais, crafted by friends‑turned‑partners Sébastien Dupré and Guillaume Goujon. This 2020 vintage is 100% Gamay from the L’Héronde lieu‑dit on blue metamorphic diorite soils, vinified with minimal intervention and aged for around 24 months, including time in barriques and demi‑muids for added depth. 

On the nose, it shows a complex aromatic palette of ripe dark berries—blackberry and plum—lifted by floral and subtle pomegranate notes, with hints of earth and spice.  The palate is medium‑bodied yet richly textured, featuring juicy fruit framed by bright acidity and fine, silky tannins. Its structure is balanced and expressive, with a long, elegant finish that makes it versatile with a range of foods from roasted meats to hearty autumn dishes. 

A refined, terroir‑driven Beaujolais that captures both freshness and depth, showing the growing reputation of this dynamic estate.
